4. MCHALE INVESTS
McHale invests HUF 500m at base in Hungary.
Irish baler and wrapper maker McHale is spending HUF 500m to update technology at its manufacturing base in the Hungarian city of Szolnok, business daily Vilaggazdasag said on Wednesday. McHale Hungaria managing director Tamas Kiss said headcount would increase over the 130 at present as a result of the investment.
4. ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE

Following the success of last years first St Patrick’s Day parade the IHBC has already started planning for the 2012. The aim will be to improve on last year and we hope to grow the numbers and increase the enjoyment for everyone. If you have any ideas or suggestions, or see a way in which you could contribute to the organisation, please contact Mark Downey on m.downey@ihbc.hu. We are always looking for ways to improve and bring new ideas onto our organising committee.
5. IHBC WELCOME NEW BOARD MEMBER

The IHBC Board are delighted to present Pat Loughran as the newest member of the Board. Pat is a highly involved member of the IHBC. As well as taking the lead in organising the St. Patricks Gala Dinner, Pat is also a member of the team who organise all IHBC activities. He is also a familiar face at IHBC social and charity events. The board welcome Pat and wish him the very best of luck with his new role. This position will ratified at the next AGM in May 2012.
