IHBC OCTOBER HIKE – Pomaz to Piliszentlaszlo

Sunday 30th October 2011

Join your fellow IHBC members and friends as they hike into the Pilis Hills from Pomaz to Piliszentlaszlo.
This walk is a little different to the past walks as we venture a little out of Budapest into the Pilis Hills. The route is approx. 16 km taking around 4 hours starting from Pomaz HEV station through the Zengo Volgy or “buzzing valley“, via Lajos Forras on marked tracks to the village of Pilisszentlaszlo, it’s a challenging walk but beautiful with fantastic views, ancient forest, springs, streams and birds of prey. http://www.pilisszentlaszlo.hu/helyunk. Boots will be needed if there has been rain, as is a jacket (hat /gloves), a change of dry clothes, a flask of tea or coffee and snacks.
Itinerary:
